Rules & regulations under which service is provided are detailed in the HAWC Tariff on file with the NH Public Utilities Commission. Per HAWC’s Tariff: Customers shall maintain the plumbing and fixtures within their own premises in good repair, free from leaks and protected from freezing, at their own expense; failure to do so may result in water service disconnection. Water meters, Radio Frequency Boxes, and any other HAWC equipment used to supply water to the service address are the property of Hampstead Area Water Co., Inc. (HAWC). The customer of record is responsible to keep the equipment accessible to HAWC for reading, maintenance, and/or inspection at all times. Any damaged equipment will be repaired or replaced at the customer of record’s expense.
