Is the water safe to drink?
Some people may be more vulnerable to contaminants in drinking water than the general population.  These people should seek advice about drinking water from their health care providers.  Refer to the Water Quality Report for your water system for additional information.

Do I need to flush my service line?
From time to time it may be necessary to flush the water service line; please contact HAWC prior to flushing to ensure doing so will not create an issue for your property or the water system.  If HAWC has advised you to flush the service line please click here for instructions.

Is the water tested?
Water analyses and treatments are performed as required and directed by the United States Environmental Services Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services’s (NHDES) Drinking Water and Groundwater Bureau (DWGB).  Check out the “Monitoring & Treatment” page for additional information.
