Temporary Water Service Interruption for System Improvements
The Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc (HAWC) will be performing scheduled upgrades at the Colby Pond pumphouse in Danville on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This work will require a temporary interruption of water service between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
What to Expect
- Water service will be unavailable during the scheduled work window.
- Once service is restored, you may notice temporary water discoloration.
After Service is Restored
If discoloration persists after 4:00 PM, we recommend running your cold-water tap for 10–15 minutes to help clear your lines.
