Water System Flushing Notice
The Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc. (HAWC) will be performing a system flush starting on Thursday morning September 24th and flushing will likely extend into the following week. Note that flushing will not be performed during the weekend.
The flush will be limited to the Atkinson portion of the water system and will include Gigante Dr. and Brickett’s Mill in Hampstead.
During this time, you may experience reduced water pressure and discolored water. If you should experience discolored water, please run your cold water taps for several minutes to clear before doing laundry.
