The Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc. (HAWC) is currently responding to an emergency leak repair today, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in the Bryant Woods area of Atkinson, and will require a temporary water service interruption from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM for customers in the affected area.
What to Expect
Water service will be temporarily interrupted between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM for customers in the affected area of Bryant Woods.
The following areas in Atkinson will be impacted by a temporary water service interruption during the repair:
- Ironwood Lane
- Rosewood Ct
- Redwood Drive
What You Should Do
Once water service is restored, some customers may notice temporary discoloration. This is normal following system repairs.
If discoloration persists after 4:00 PM, we recommend:
- Running your cold-water tap for 10–15 minutes to help flush your lines
