The Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc. (HAWC) will be conducting an Emergency Leak Repair in Danville, NH on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026. The repair will take place on Colby Pond, at the intersection of Sanborn Street and GH Carter Drive.

 

What to Expect

Water service will be temporarily interrupted between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM for customers in the affected area.

 

What You Should Do

Once water service is restored, some customers may notice temporary discoloration. This is normal following system repairs.

If discoloration persists after 4:00 PM, we recommend:

  • Running your cold-water tap for 10–15 minutes to help flush your lines

The Hampstead Area Water Company, Inc. (HAWC) will continue Routine Fall System Flushing on Monday, September 21st, 2026. Routine flushing will continue at various HAWC water systems throughout the month of September. This essential maintenance helps ensure continued water quality and reliability by removing naturally occurring minerals and sediment, improving system performance, and extending the life of the water distribution system. Customers in the affected areas will also receive an automated call at the phone number on file prior to their scheduled flushing date. The schedule below reflects the systems scheduled for flushing from Monday, September 21st through Thursday, September 24th, 2026.
